Greenbrier Rail Services’ Red Oak facility established a railcar impact testing operation. The automated data collection system provides the ability to capture coupler and sill loading up to 18 MPH. Our engineers can install your parts on our test railcars and run testing per AAR requirements or they can customize testing to fit your needs. Switchable tracks allow for easy change to back up or impact railcar configuration. The hammer railcar lading may be easily and quickly reconfigured as testing dictates.
