Trinity Industries, Inc. Adds Todd Maclin to its Board of Directors

Trinity Industries, Inc. today announced the election of Todd Maclin to its Board of Directors, effective immediately. The addition of Mr. Maclin expands Trinity's Board of Directors from 7 to 8 members. Mr. Maclin retired in 2016 from a 37-year career at JPMorgan Chase & Co., and its predecessor banks, where he rose to Chairman, Chase Commercial and Consumer Banking in 2013 and served on the company's Operating Committee.

As the U.S. Interstate Highway System reaches 64 years old, it faces increasing congestion, unprecedented levels of travel – particularly by large trucks – and insufficient funding to make needed repairs and improvements. Colorado Rail Park Gets Final OK

A project to develop a 620-acre rail-served industrial park in the greater Denver area has been granted final approval by the local government, paving the way for construction to begin in the fourth quarter. Rocky Mountain Industrials said the Adams County Board of Commissioners had unanimously approved a final development plan for the Rocky Mountain Rail Park.

CRRC Rolls Out First Battery-Equipped Locomotive for Rail Cargo Hungary

CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive has completed the first of four battery-equipped electric locomotives ordered by Austrian Federal Railways (OBB) subsidiary Rail Cargo Hungary (RCH) in 2019. Two of the locomotives will be used for shunting in Hungary with the other two designed for cross-border mainline operation, primarily to the south-east of Hungary and Croatia.
 

Safer Tank Wagon for Dangerous Goods on the Market

Wascosa has developed a new tank wagon for acrylonitrile, a dangerous good. The newly developed wagon is setting new standards in terms of safety and wagon design. Hundred new wagons will be delivered by the end of 2020. Due to COVID 19, the start of the delivery has been a little delayed. In addition to the 25 wagons already delivered, a further 75 will be delivered by the end of the year.
